Scentwork Training
Beginner's Course - 6 weeks
Our six-week introductory course is designed to teach you and your dog the fundamentals of scent detection. With a structured curriculum, you'll see progress and improvement each week, with you and your dog confidently searching for and indicating on a trained target odour (Napier Gun Oil) by the end of the course.
Each weekly session is an hour long and group sizes are limited to just four dogs per course, meaning each dog and owner has ample to work on their skills. Dogs are worked individually, which means that you will be able to observe and learn from your classmates.
Taking part in the Taster Session is a highly recommended before enrolling in this course as it not only introduces some key foundation knowledge, but also introduces you to the first chapter of the mystery we will be solving throughout the course!
Are you interested in starting nosework with your dog but don't know where to begin? Look no further! This introductory session is the perfect opportunity for beginners to learn the basics of why scentwork is so beneficial for all dogs, regardless of breed, age, size, or physical ability, and for your dog to give it a go with a few different fun activities. Includes a scent pairing kit for you to take home to start teaching your dog the odour of gun oil.

One to one coaching is available for all levels, from complete beginner to advanced competitor. Whether you just want to have some fun and enrich your dog's life, or you want more specifically tailored focus to improve a particular aspect of your training, I can provide one-on-one support to meet your needs. Sessions are either 30 minutes or 45 minutes in length. Packages available.

Weekly Club Sessions
Weekly club sessions provide an opportunity to refine your skills as a team and progress on your scent work journey with coaching tailored to your needs. Suitable for all levels, but if you have never done any scentwork, we recommend booking an introductory session first. Club sessions are small groups of up to four dogs, but dogs are worked one at a time.
Workshops allow an in-depth focus on specific elements of scent detection. Topics range from Indications, Problem Solving, Line Handling, Search Systems and many others. We also offer workshops focusing on specific elements to prepare teams for competitions both in the NNA style and Nosework Games.

Online Coaching
I understand that not everyone is able to attend in person coaching either due to their own or to their dog's individual circumstances. This should not be a barrier to being able to enjoy scentwork, which is why I also offer online coaching and video assessment.
